Outside the manufacturing facility.

Bacterial Fermentation Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned company operating from Expo Court, Ashmore, Gold Coast, Qld. Bacterial Fermentation was founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of Genesearch Pty Ltd and in July 2008 became a private company.

Inside the fermentation facility.

Bacterial Fermentation has a well equipped research facility for the development and manufacture of new products based on biotechnology, specialising in products requiring microbial fermentation. Genesearch and now Bacterial Fermentation have been developing advanced fermentation technology since 1981. In the late 1980's, Genesearch fermentation technology was applied to waste treatment technology. Since the 1990's, Genesearch fermentation technology has been applied to the new silage inoculant, SI-LAC.

Continuing and future research will involve improvements to silage inoculants and methods for suppressing heating of silage on feeding out. Bacterial Fermentation collaborates with other interested parties in the development of this agricultural biotechnology.

Part of Bacterial Fermentation's fermentation plant.

Bacterial Fermentation has developed fermentation manufacturing technology which increases the potency of a wide range of bacterial products. Using this fermentation technology, Bacterial Fermentation manufactures bacterial products including the silage inoculant, SI-LAC and waste treatment bacteria.
